I'm not saying the americans didn't have talent, the americans had an extremely talented roster going into the tournament. Im just saying with these 8 players in the line up i don't think they could've stood much of a chance, they have pro hockey experience and they put up serious numbers at such a young age. At a tournament like that they would have been simply better. Crosby and Fleury were not stars yet in the 04 tournament, Crosby 2 years later was.
