1st time I saw Magnum, they were supporting Def Leppard who hadn't even released an album. Def Leppard were boo'd off stage and Magnum did 3 encores. Epic night :-)

Aww, great stuff! I used to see Bob Catley in Hamlet's Tamworth on the odd occasion. Such an unassuming guy. None of that "I'm a rock singer" bullshit. Top band, too! One of the girls who worked behind the bar had a massive crush on Bob, and went to every gig. :-)

I love first 3-4 Magnum albums/ I totally hate from '85 to '90 Magnum albums / I like nowdays Magnum albums...'Kingdom of Madness' will remain their best album...not just poor Aor but Melodic Progressive hard rock at his best...Hope I will see them one day...

Saw them last night at rock city Nottingham.still a great band ,the audience were like me the wrong side of forty ,so not much crowd surfing but a great night!!!!!!!!!

The latest is very reminiscent of Kingdom Of Madness/Magnum II era stuff... Not too shabby to be honest, not quite Chase The Dragon, but better than anything else out there at the moment.
